Human Zoo - What would you like to see / learn about?

If a travelling human zoo were to come to your town, what "type" of humans would you be most interested in seeing and learning about?

What peoples would you like your children to see, interact with, learn about?

Unlike common animal zoos, all human zoo specimens are willing participants, who want to increase understanding, empathy, connection and celebrate the similarities and differences that make our race so incredible and interesting.

"1 Vaccination Per Visit" Alternative Vaccination Schedule

We have decided to vaccinate Ryder, we've discussed options with our Pediatrician, and we have started Ryder on the following "1 Vaccination Per Visit" schedule.
2 Months = DTaP
2.5 Months = PCV
3 Months = Hib

4 Months = DTaP
4.5 Months = PCV
5 Months = Hib
6 Months = DTaP
6.5 Months = PCV
7 Months = Hib
By limiting his vaccinations to 1 per visit, if Ryder has an adverse reaction to any vaccine we will definitively know which one. We also feel better about his little body having two weeks to assimilate and adjust to each vaccine before another is introduced, and we feel 1 shot per visit is more than enough pain and discomfort for Ryder.

Our doctor's office is just a couple of blocks from our home so the increased number of visits isn't a problem for us. Ryder will not even see his doctor during the 2.5, 3, 4.5, 5, 6.5 & 7 month appointments - those will be super short nurse-only visits.

We're not recommending this schedule, I just thought it would be good for a "1 Vaccination Per Visit" schedule to be published since our conservative pediatrician agreed to it, and in our extensive searching for alternatives we didn't find a schedule like this.

Ryder is just 8 weeks old, so this schedule is subject to change. We are considering other vaccinations too ... but as of today this is our plan through month 7.

Reclaiming the Sanctity of Marriage

Christian marriage = a holy covenant between a man, a woman and God for a lifetime.

Marriage was never intended to be a government institution or a political device.

Requests of all Christians:
  1. Please go to your churches, communities and homes and implore fellow Christians to embrace the sanctity of marriage and *reject* the politicization of marriage.
  2. Please call upon all Christians to demand that marriage be removed from all laws and constitutions, thereby rightfully acknowledging and reclaiming marriage as a religious holy covenant.
  3. Please write to your political representatives and let them know that Reclaiming the Sanctity of Marriage is a critical issue for Christians, and require that your political representative take steps to remove marriage from all laws and constitutions, if they hope to have the support of Christian voters.
Thank you,

God

recurring dreams

i'm in a fredericksburg pub talking with young adults about how their life stories and the futures they're manifesting.

as i listen i'm startled because i'm hearing the story of ...  my life.

when i was a young man i dreamt, and at the time i thought my dream was pretty unique. my dreams became my life, and ... as it turns out ... more young men after (and before?) me choose uncannily similar dreams.

is the universe just sending us, one after another, until someone gets it right?

nah.

the dream recurs because ... it's fantastic, romantic, exciting and fun.

in our youth we feel like we get a taste of something so desirable, that we want more than just a taste or even to be temporarily immersed. we want to spend a lifetime feeling and exploring this something.

and some of us do just that.
