Marriage was never intended to be a government institution or a political device.
Requests of all Christians:
- Please go to your churches, communities and homes and implore fellow Christians to embrace the sanctity of marriage and *reject* the politicization of marriage.
- Please call upon all Christians to demand that marriage be removed from all laws and constitutions, thereby rightfully acknowledging and reclaiming marriage as a religious holy covenant.
- Please write to your political representatives and let them know that Reclaiming the Sanctity of Marriage is a critical issue for Christians, and require that your political representative take steps to remove marriage from all laws and constitutions, if they hope to have the support of Christian voters.
